Greetings All,
Went to the show Wenesday in North Hampton Massachuesetts. Luckily
work was sending me to school, which happened to be halfway between home and
North Hampton. Anways the Pearl Street Night Club was a very small club
probaly only held about 600 or so. It was an all ages show. A real young
crowd. Alot of college kids, about 15% goth types. Wasn't much of a pit.
(There were about 30 15 yr old a Maryln Manson wanabees.... Drain wasn't all that impressive, although the bassist was cute.
And as for Sister Machine Gun, all the Lead singer gave a shit about was
some heckler up front. He kept challenging him to "bring it on stage." I
wish Life of Agony was still on tour with em but oh well... Drain came on
at 8:30, Sister Machine Gun at 9:15 and TON came on at about 10:20. I'd say
TON played 70 minutes tops.
Anyways the show itself was, as usual, awesome, then again I'm very
biased. The sound could have been better, Pete yelled at "Arthur" during
the show to fix somehting with the volcals. He was very tiffed at it during
"Christian Woman" He thanked the crowd for singing along, to cover up the
"mistakes."
Pete was very quiet during the show he talked alot more during the
shows that I saw in Providence and Boston earlier in the fall. His bottle
of wine was half gone when he came on stage but it didnt seem to affect him
at all. His voice was as good as ever.
Set list was.... Prelude...,Love You to Death, Cinnamon Girl,
Christian WOman, In Praise of Bacchus, Kill all the White users, Light my
Fire,Girlfriends Girlfriend, Too Late Frozen, Wolf Moon, Black No. 1.
The highlight of the night?!?!?!
Well that was show 3 for the year for me and guess what???? Number
4 will be tomorrow night in Burlington Vt.!!!!!! Me and the GF are road
tripping it for the night!!!! I will have a review. My girlfriend was
ripped shit when she found out I met Peter Steele. She's making me hang out
in Vermont. This time I'll have my discs for autographs and a camera for
pics. Hope Im as lucky.
Ciao Baby!
Return to the '97 US Tour, part 1.
I met the band!!!! Well Josh, Kenny and Peter anyways. The usual
way taking my queue from the LIST I just hung out by the bus with about 15
other users, and eventually they all came out. I shook hands with Josh and
Kenny, told em "good show" and all that shit. Then Mr. Steele stepped out
of the bus. Man he is even bigger up close. I'm 6'2 220 but man he is BIG!
anyways he was sooo polite to everyone there thanking them numerous times
for coming out to the show. I did get his autograph. Kinda cool looking.
One girl gave him arose and he was so thankful, he then kissed her on the
hand. She nearly died after that. He posed for pictures....the works. All
I can say was he was a really nice guy. I didnt know what to expect, I
thought he would be more gruff or mean. He was a perfect gentleman.
