I just saw TYPE O play at the STONE PONY in Asbury Park last night. The opening band DRAIN from Sweden was really good. An all girl power metal band that really kicked ass! Next up was Sister Machine Gun ( YAWN) ,.. I certainly hope this wasnt a choice by Peter and the boys but it probably was :( Lets just say most of the users there ( myself included) thought that SMG did NOT belong there. Then FINALLY TYPE O takes the stage.

AWESOME is all I can say. I couldnt get REAL close for most of the concert because it was so packed and up front was Chaos as I expected. They played a good cross-section of their songs old and new and even threw in a joke? cover of the Doors " Light My Fire" I say joke because after the song ended Pete says " If their was a time to take a piss break that was it" The sound was right one throughout their entire set. Peter's voice was perfection as was the musicianship of the entire band. They closed with Black No.1 of course but I was kind of hoping for an encore that didnt happen. All in all it was a great night except for SMG but they were soon forgotten!
