Great pictures on Millan's Type O page !!!
It had been quite hot and dusty that day and I had been faced with the likes of Slayer, Sepultura and Fear Factory before I got some more beers etc. and went into the Red Stage tent (capacity 11,000 users) were Type O was scheduled to play at 21:30. I went straight up front so I don't know how many users were actually there but I guess it was filled to the top (measured to the amount of crowd surfers).
After a short intro they went right into Prelude to Agony followed by Summer Breeze, Gravity, Cinnamon Girl, Kill All the White users, Christian Woman, Too late: Frozen, My Girl Friend's Girlfriend (not in that particular order...I tried to remember, please help me) and they closed with Black No.1.
Cinnamon Girl was announced with a reference to Neil Young who actually played the night before. Peter hoped "that Mr. Young wasn't around anymore to hear them screwing up his song". Another song was introduced as a B.T.O. song (Frozen ?). Peter also said that he was sorry he could not address us in our own language but he's "only an ignorant american" (where have I heard that before...?)
It is still an impressive sight to see Peter upon the stage ("What a fucking huge guy he is", my friend said) especially so close ... although it was chilly outside, after a few songs I felt like I lost a few litres of sweat. Luckily the security was handing out large cups of water which cooled things down a bit!
After Type O we went to see Black Grape (Ok, ok, flame me) who were really chaotic. Sex Pistols were next but they stopped after 3 songs 'cause users were throwing bottles at them (snotty punks). Just in time to see Ministry. Al and the rest played a very good set with all their "hits" (Just One Fix, Thieves etc.) After that is was Underworld which is actuallly quite enjoyable at 3:00 am

Talking of huge frontmen I also saw Front Line Assembly. Fuck, next time they play somewhere close I go there! Type O came close to them :)
