It was cold and rainy that day and I had seen Life of Agony, Morbid Angel and Fear Factory.(Festival-capacity 8,000 users) Type O played at 20:30. I went straight up front.

Some stupid festival-host/announcer said Pete had received a pile of loveletters. Some chicks went nutz and filled up their camera's before Pete had actually reached the mic. After a short intro they went right into Prelude to Agony followed by Summer Breeze, Gravity, Kill All the White users, Christian Woman, Too late: Frozen, My Girl- friend's Girlfriend and they closed with Black No.1.

"My GF GF" was announced with a familiar saying: "This song is about 1 boy, 2 girls and 1 bed. Now just use your imagination and your right hand." Peter also said that he was sorry he could not address us in our own language coz he's "only an ignorant american". [I'm not surprised if this song hits the charts here in Holland when the single comes out; I found it really "poppy", "simple" and "nice sounding"]

I saw Pete talking to 2 Waldrock-stagecrew-men who were a LOT taller than him. This I thought, was actually quite a funny sight... [ The tallest I saw a few months earlier in a Fear Factory club-show. When he passed me I thought the guy was sittin on another guy's neck. Turns out this guy was something like 7'4". And I thought my 6'5" was tall... Imagine!!! ]

It was great seeing Type O again, but I wished they played "Bloody Kisses" or "Suspended" or "Cinnamon Girl"; they didn't. I also wished Pete would:
- stop wearing his bass under his waste to look more muscular
- stop rolling his eyes to the back
- stop using his bottle of wine as a plectrum
- stop showing his fangs
- stop singing so low
- do a few ugly dance-steps
- trip over (his bass-guitar cord / Kenny)
to stop the women in front of me to go fuckin' GAGA.

Pete is SO FAKE, that he's become COOL... (Yes, I'm jealous... :-) )
