You guys aren't going to believe this show!

Really you wont! First of all I get there and I have a lamenet, :) so then I figure I'm going home to get the vid cam, Race home race back, walk up to the back stage area with my bag w/cam in it, and there is no-one there to check me! Another bonus, so I walk around trying to find the friends I originally came with, and in doing so somewhere my lam fell of the laniard and I lost it, so I retraced my steps and there it was in the middle of the walkway that divides the seats and lawn section, and there it is laying on the gound face up. 10 minutes fucking later! So then I run into the guys from the Deftones and ask if filming them is cool, So I get to film them from the stage! :), so I figure I'll camp out here for the Deftones and Type-o, great spot!

25 min into what is supposed to be a forty min set, there monitors are turned off and shit starts getting all little nutty, after a brief argument the show is back on, users start climbing up on stage and its getting crazy, security is beating the hell out of users and shit is just really gettting turned up. Deftones do two more songs and the place is just out of control, I mean completely out of control. Somewhere around 150-200 users end up on stage, there wasn't enough security and the place was turned upside down, the security bailed and the PA towers were ripped down, the barricades were thrown up on stage with everything else that wasn't nailed down, and everything else that was nailed down made its way up there within 10 min, They dropped the curtain to cover the users and equipment that remained on the stage. But it only protected us for about 3-4 min, then it was torn down and burned. So this goes on until all is in pieces that can be. Then they announce that type-o wont be playing because shit was completely out of hand, there was obviously no going back at this point! The crowd starts chanting TYPE-O, TYPE-O, you get the picture, more distruction! Within 15 min the Riot cops show up and go to town, spraying pepper spray on the kids and everyone else that was in the vacinity, I missed some of this footage trying to escape the EVIL orange spray. Which sucks, but I saw it all! Anyway the cops dispurse the users and clear out the 16,000 seat venue.

After the festivities on stage I head backstage to the Type-o dressing room where Peter is sitting drinking a bottle of Red wine, with a room full of users around him. He is discussing when this date can be made up he is a little pissed and really wants to play for his fans! And he says he'd like to kick the bands ass, but it wasn't worth the bullshit and going to jail over, and he leaves it at that. So the mood is bad, so I split and head to Purgatory, a local bar (undergound s&m type club:)), and I'm hanging out with some friends and the Deftones show up, then a few minutes later half of type-o and their roadies show up and within minutes more mayham, this tiny bar turns into madison square garden on fight night! I dont know who got hit by who or who won, it was a battle royal, no cam for this one:), I was trying to pull my friend out from the middle of it, more like from under it, she was getting squished, she was knocked over in the fight and they were about to land on her. So both bands go outside and there is more fighting.
