Type O will interrupt their current tour with Queensryche for some European festival shows in the Netherlands. On June 3 they played the Dynamo Open Air Festival for more than 100.000 users and the day after on the Pinkpop festival for 50.000 users (!).

Type O Negative - DYNAMO OPEN AIR (June 3rd)
I had never seen TON live before so it was something I'd really been looking forward to. It
seemed everebody was.There were about 125.000 users for this show; I counted them. With the
soundcheck I saw Kenny and some bimbo-groupie posing for a picture. Since I play guitar,
I noticed that the equipment Type O uses was the most professional of that day.
The background-flag *Type-green with shadows of branches* was cool. After the intro ("Glass walls of limbo...") Pete (and rest) arrived on stage and everybody cheered like he was God. I must admit he looked pretty muscular in his tight homo-shirt, but I expected him to be taller. Anyway, they played a few chords and stopped. Pete thanked us for coming to the show and they left (I guess he forgot to take that dump). A couple of minutes later they came back on stage and I saw some toilet paper hanging out of his trousers. They broke loose with "Too late". I hoped Pete was going to do the JOOOHOOO-part, but I forgot all about Pete's rule -No Hope=No Fear-.
In they're set of 70 minutes they played: Absolution, Pain, Black No.1,
Summerbreeze, Blood'n'Fire, Christian Woman.
They did not play: unsucessfully coping with the fact that someone's fucking your girlfriend,
Black Sabbath, Cinnamon Girl, Paranoid, Suspended in Dusk.
There were a few moshpits out there, but I got bored of tossing users around.
(These morons always land on top of MY head).During their performance Pete showed
how he could drink 2 bottles of wine and still stand straight up. He used the bottle
as his bass plectrum, that was a great visual thing. Another great thing was,
that it was getting darker outside around Type Os performance.
Pete called Evan from Biohazard upstage, who said to all us users "Don't believe believe what you read." As Pete was standing next to Evan, it looked like he brought his kid brother. Pete said to us:
"You're all the same beautiful users to us",
"I DO NOT SEE ANY DUTCH FOLKS",
"I DO NOT SEE ANY GERMANS",
"I DO NOT SEE ....." (continued)
"We are all the same. If you believe in God pray that the war in Yugoslavia
will end, if you don't believe do something else. Let's end the war !"
During the last song (Black No.1) the stage guys broke up
everything before TON finished the show.
